5 Reasons To Love Fantasyland

It could be said that Fantasyland is the beating heart of Disney Parks, a fairy tale world that ignites the imaginations of both old and young. The centerpiece of it all a towering castle where we learn that dreams do come true, and happily ever after is possible. There is so much to see and do in the recently expanded Fantasyland that choosing just 5 things simply doesn't do it justice. But I'm going to give it a try, so read on to find out (in no particular order) five reasons I love Fantasyland.

Cinderella Castle - Big, blue, and majestic, who doesn't love the towering castle at the center of the Magic Kingdom. It stands above the theme park like a sentry guarding the hopes and dreams of all who enter its realm. Cinderella Castle is home to the Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique, Cinderella's Royal Table Restaurant, and the exclusive Dream Suite. It's the backdrop for Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire, the canvas to Celebrate The Magic, and an impressive base to the Wishes Fireworks Spectacular.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - I love everything about this ride. OK, the seats aren't the most comfortable - but besides that. The newest of Disney's roller coasters takes guests through a typical workday at the gem mine with the Seven Dwarfs. From the interactive queue to the way the carts swing as you come over the mountain-top and whisk around the rolling hills. It's a family coaster that leaves me laughing, and the resolution on the in-ride camera is fantastic, so you're sure to get a picture of all the fun.

Peter Pan's Flight - This classic Disney attraction is one of those originals that just makes you feel like a child again. Board you personal pirate ship and take flight high above the city of London as you join the Darling children and Peter Pan for a memorable adventure in Never Land. While the animatronics are no long cutting edge, there's just something a ride through the night sky with Peter Pan that I just has to adore.

Be Our Guest - I can think of no place in Fantasyland that brings a classic animated movie to life more exquisitely than the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Imagineering knocked it out of the Park when they recreated Beast's Ballroom, and the snow falling gently on the mountains outside. Walking in to this dining establishment is truly like walking right into the movie, where you are thrilled to sit down and let the dinning room present your breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Tangled Rest Area - Yes, I put a restroom on my list. The beautiful Tangled Rest Area is a remarkable effort by the Disney Imagineers to bring in theming, while offering guests a bit of comfort while everyone in the group takes care of necessities. Tables and benches with charging stations are available nestled under trees, a hide and seek game with Pascal's friends takes place along a bubbling brook, and sizable facilities mean that the whole family can get a short break before moving in to the next attraction.
