Everybody has their favorite snacks at Walt Disney World, and when touring the Magic Kingdom some fabulous fan favorite come immediately to mind. Dole Whip, Turkey Legs, Cinnamon Rolls, and Corn Dog Nuggets are just a few of the treats that you'll hear folks raving about. While on vacation in June I discovered a brand new (to me) sweet treat that will make my list of "must eats" for many trips to comes. I'm talking about the Apple Crisp at Liberty Square's Columbia Harbor House Restaurant.
Located on the dessert menu (for $3.79*) this delicious little pasty is called an "Apple Crisp," but it doesn't come in the form of a traditional fruit crisp. It's more like a free form apple pie or galette of finely diced tart apples made into a sweet, thick pie filling with just a hint of cinnamon. The evenly rolled pastry crust has been wrapped up around the filling and baked to a beautiful golden brown. The crust was done well, though not overly remarkable.
Taken as a whole this may be my new favorite dessert from a Magic Kingdom quick-serve, and it makes for a totally snack worthy stop as well. The Apple Crisp is a delicious and well themed bite of Americana.
If you stop by Columbia Harbor House, be sure to add this sweet treat to your order. Do you have a favorite dessert at the Magic Kingdom? Leave a comment and let me know what yours is!
*As with all things Disney prices are subject to change.

Would this treat be considered a snack credit? That would be an awesome credit!
