If a character breakfast isn't in your budget, or just isn't your style, Walt Disney World has a great table service experience that will help you start your day off right. There's no place that has as much rip roaring fun for breakfast than the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Hotel. Located just off the lobby of this deluxe resort decorated in north woods chic gives way to the ambiance of a cattle drive as you mosey up the steps for a fantastic morning.
On one side of the room floor to ceiling windows look out to the woods beyond and showcase the landscaping and beautiful weather that you'll be experiencing during your stay in Florida. On the other you'll be in the perfect spot for people watching as you overlook the cavernous lobby. You'll be seated at tables of pinewood that have been decorated with Cowboys and Indians. Wagon wheel chandeliers hang above and lend credence to the cowboy culture here that enchants guests both big and small.
The waiters and waitresses attend you with a devil may care attitude, yet still serve up that above par Disney service. If you're feeling brave be sure to ask for a really big soda, or some ketchup to help drum up some fun and attitude. If you drop your fork, don't worry, they'll bring you another that you're sure to keep a hold of. Dining with kids? Be prepared to send them off for a galloping pony ride around the restaurant.
Food here is hot and fresh; if you order the skillet you'll be treated to a bountiful all you care to eat tray of breakfast comfort foods including bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, potatoes and the ever-popular Mickey Mouse Waffles for just about $17 per person. A full menu of delightful options is also available, and early morning cocktails like Mimosas or Bloody Marys are available. The coffee's not bad here, but it's nothing to write home about. Whispering Canyon Cafe accepts both Tables in Wonderland and the is 1 TS Credit for the Disney Dining Plan.
This is a fantastic spot to fuel back up after a morning runDisney event and is fast becoming a traditional stop with many Disney fans. The food is both bountiful and delicious; and the atmosphere is sure to leave you with a spring in your step.

The breakfast is awesome. If you like a little kick at breakfast you must try the Barbecue Eggs Benedict. After a little persuasion from the waitress, I tried it anr for the next three mornings it was my breakfast.
