Condé Nast Traveler Honors Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Cruise Line ships were recognized once again as being amongst the top large cruise ships in the world by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler in their annual poll.

This year all four of the Disney Ships made the list with the Disney Magic ranked No. 1 out of 376 ships surveyed by the magazine's dedicated readers, with a score of 89.9 out of 100. The Disney Wonder and Disney Dream followed close behind at 89.6 and 89.5 respectively. The newest ship to the fleet, the Disney Fantasy, debuted less than one year ago, and scored 84.8 on the poll, ranking it No. 8. The ships were evaluated on seven criteria including: Activities/ Facilities, Cabins, Crew/Service, Design/Layout, Food/Dining, Itineraries/Schedule and Shore Excursions. Karl Holz, president of Disney Cruise Line had this to say about being honored this year.

With four ships in our fleet, more families than ever before can set sail on an a Disney Cruise Line vacation filled with imaginative fun for the kids and exciting family time for all. We're thrilled that the experiences our cast and crew members deliver at sea continue to be recognized as outstanding by our guests.

Having been on both Disney ships and those of competitive lines, I couldn't agree more with their ratings and expect to see the Fantasy climb even higher on the list as more travelers get to experience the ship.
