Disney on a Budget: Discount Tickets

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be stressful, especially if you have a limited budget to work with. We have tried to alleviate some of the leg work so that you can find the best deals for your trip quickly. Here we break down where and how you can find discount tickets to the parks.

Undercover Tourist
Undercover Tourist is a Disney Parks USA Ticket Seller, which means they are contracted, licensed, and authorized by Walt Disney World to sell discount tickets that are new.

Click here to visit their website.

AAA & CAA
Some AAA and CAA offices offer discounted Disney tickets; call your local office to find out if this option is available to you.

The Auto Club South offices in Florida also offer discounts on annual passes and premium annual passes. Non-Florida residents can save over $20 on adult and child annual passes. For AAA members who our Florida residents you can purchase discounted Florida Resident Tickets, Florida Resident Seasonal Passes, and Florida Resident Annual and Premium Passes.

The Orlando office is located at 4300 East Colonial Drive, and their phone number is (407) 894-3332.

Florida Resident Deals
As a Florida resident you enjoy discounts on tickets and annual passes. Proof of residency is required to qualify for Florida resident deals.

DVC Member Discounts
DVC members enjoy significant savings on annual passes and premium annual passes, as well as on renewal rates. If you are a DVC member be sure and take advantage of this benefit by calling Member Services or logging into the DVC members' site.

Support a Great Cause & Save on One-Day Disney Tickets
By making a gift to the Walt Disney Pavilion at the Florida Hospital for Children you can receive a package that includes One-Day Disney Tickets and other extras, like a discount at Niki Bryan Spas, a gift card for Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney, and more.

These tickets are considered complimentary and therefore are not able to be upgraded in any way. For more information click here.

Military & Civil Service Discounts
Disney offers discounts on tickets to active duty service members, retired military, DOD of civilian employes, and their dependents. Most of the savings on tickets come from not paying the 6.5% sales tax.

Members of the U.S. military, both active and retired, should consider the Military Salute Tribute Ticket offer that runs through September 28, 2011.

Disney World Area Wal-Marts
There are two Wal-Marts in Kissimmee that sell discounted tickets. They do not sell every type of ticket so it is recommended that you call first to see what type of tickets they have. The addresses and phone numbers are listed below (phone numbers listed are the main store number, ask for the ticket counter.)

  • 3250 Vineland Road, (407) 397-1125
  • 4444 W. Vine Street, (407) 397-7000

Other Discounts
Through some large corporations you may be able to purchase discounted Disney tickets. Check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your company offers this option.

Hilton HHonors members may exchange points for tickets but be warned it takes a 175,000 points for an adult 4-day Magic Your Way ticket.

For students, faculty, and staff of the University of Central Florida discounted tickets can be purchased through the SGA Ticket Center.
