Disney Cocktails: Citrus Infusion
Today we're going to take a look at another one of the tasty cocktails on Disney's standard drink menu for 2013, the Citrus Infusion. My companion and I enjoy this cocktail at the Top of the World, but you can find at lounges across property. Disney must have anticipated guests going crazy for this lime green beauty, because it actually has double billing; found on both the bar/lounge and the pool bar menus.
Citrus Infusion Can Be Found On The Pool Bar Menu Too!
The Citrus Infusion is light and refreshing, a combination of SKYY Infusions Citrus Vodka, Midori, Orange Juice, Mint and fresh Lemon Juice. If you order this one poolside you'll also get a splash of agave nectar. In both drinks the alcohol is not very pronounced and it goes down easy.
Citrus Infusion Cocktail
My husband commented that if we were at an open bar he would have absolutely knocked back a few of these even though he is not typically a big fan of melon. However in this delicious cocktail the Midori is brilliantly offset with mint and fresh lemon, offering no small amount of brightness and a pleasant bit of tartness. Wonderfully refreshing without being overly sweet, it's no wonder you can find this cocktail being sipped poolside too. Overall, the Citrus Infusion was a great cap to a long, hot day.
