Disney Cruise Line Named Top Large-Ship Line in Reader’s Choice Poll

Disney Cruise Line was recently ranked as the top large-ship cruise line by readers of a national travel magazine.

Conde Nast Traveler's 26th Annual Readers' Choice Awards gave DCL an overall rating of 90.3, putting the cruise line ahead of Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, and Princess Cruises.

DCL scored higher than most cruise lines in every category including itineraries, excursions, service, cabins, activities, facilities, and design. The cruise line was narrowly edged out of the top spot in food by Celebrity Cruises which scored 86.9 while DCL scored 86.6.

Nearly 80,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers participated in the survey which also ranked other travel-related items including best cities to visit, best islands, best airlines, and best hotels and resorts around the world.

Earlier this year, the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, and Disney Dream took the top three spots in the "Top 20 Large Cruise Ships" section of Conde Nast Traveler's "Top 100 Cruise Ships in the World" readers' poll.
