Happy middle of the week! We have some exciting Disney Vacation Club news and an update about the new restaurant and pool bar opening soon at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Let's check out what's in today's round-up.

On February 18, Disney Vacation Club members can attend a special event at the Member Lounge in Epcot. The event is an exclusive dessert party with Disney artist Don "Ducky" Williams. The dessert party is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. and is priced at $30 per person.

Progress continues on the new waterside DVC cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. And now we're hearing that the Geyser Point Pool Bar and Grill might be opening next week (an original opening date was later this summer). This new restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Once Geyser Point opens, both Roaring Fork and the Trout Pass Pool Bar will close for refurbishment.

And finally, Disney Vacation Club members who have affiliated their My Disney Experience account with their DVC membership will see their MagicBand trigger a purple-to-green color sequence when they enter the Disney World theme parks. Cast members will also offer DVC members a "welcome home" as they enter.

Are you looking forward to visiting the new restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge? Let us know in the comments.
