Guests at Good Neighbor Hotels, including those on Hotel Plaza Boulevard near Disney Springs, will soon be able to book their FastPass+ 60 days prior to the visit, just like Disney Resort Hotel guests. This change is expected to take place before the end of the year.

Several of the Deluxe Hotels at Disney World are changing the hours for in-room private dining. With the changes the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Yacht and Beach Club will no longer offer 24-hour in-room private dining.

TSA is rolling out a new process, Enhanced Accessible Property Search, which is aimed at searching food and electronics in passenger's carry-on bags. This new process may lead to longer wait times in the TSA lines at MCO and travelers are being encouraged to arrive at the airport even earlier.

And finally, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2017 had more than 18,000 attendees. This is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. At the booth sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, Disney technologists showcased some of the company's cutting-edge technology. You can read more about the event here.
