Disney News Round-up: Full Menus for Flower and Garden Festival Announced, Disney Rolls Out MagicBand 2.0, and More

Happy Monday! We have some fun news today including the full menus for the 2017 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Outdoor Kitchens, and an update on the rollout of the MagicBand 2.0. Let's check out what's happening in today's round-up.

The 2017 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival kicks off March 1 and Disney recently released the full menus for the Outdoor Kitchens. This year's Festival features 15 Outdoor Kitchens, two more than last year. You can check out the full menus here. Morimoto Asia and Wine Bar George are teaming up for a 'Wok and Wines' wine pairing dinner. The event takes place February 28 at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs and is $150 per person. The meal features three courses plus dessert from Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga with wine pairings from Master Sommelier George Miliotes. You can find out more information here.

Disney is rolling out MagicBand 2.0, along with accessories for the new, thinner bands. The 2.0 edition features a pop-out disc that can be inserted into MagicKeepers. The bands are available in pink, blue, red, green, orange, gray, yellow, and purple, and the discs can be popped out to mix and match colors.

And finally, the runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series returns this summer. Participants can register for the series beginning April 11. The virtual running series allows participants to run three 5K races in a location of their choice, including on a treadmill. You'll earn a finisher medal for each completed race and a medal for finishing all three 5K races.

Not entirely sure what I think of the Magic Band 2.0 design yet. However if I can hang it off the bottom of a lanyard with these accessories, it may win me over.
