The state-of-the-art gondola system Disney Skyliner has been making its first test runs over the past week. The system will conveniently connect Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels- Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort as well as the proposed 15th Disney Vacation Club property, Disney's Riviera Resort. Disney Skyliner is set to open as a new form of guest transportation this fall.

Ralph and Vanellope from Disney's animated adventure "Ralph Breaks the Internet" have begun meeting fans at an all-new location at Epcot. An all new Internet portal has opened right into the ImageWorks area of the Imagination! pavilion, where you can meet with Ralph and Vanellope them every day.

Fans have also sighted a new species living on Discovery Island at Disney's Animal Kingdom. "Kevin," from Disney*Pixar's "Up!," appeared to be migrating north from Paradise Falls.

Popular beach brand Ron Jon Surf Shop has announced plans for a brand new store in Disney Springs. The 10,000-square-foot Ron Jon location will be situated in Town Center and offer a full line of gear for lovers of sand and surf.

Finally we have sad news. Beloved Disney Legend Dave Smith, founder of the Disney Archives passed away in Burbank, California, on February 15, 2019. His four-decade career with The Walt Disney Company was dedicated to preserving Disney's precious treasures from film, television, theme parks, and beyond. Fans got to know him through his popular magazine column "Ask Dave." His presence will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with his friends and family.
