Disney Springs Ready to Celebrate the Holidays with Special Events, Sales, and More

If you're making plans to visit Disney Springs this holiday season you'll find a variety of new entertainment options, great deals while shopping, and much more! The dining, entertainment, and shopping district is ready to celebrate the holiday season.

The holidays at Disney Springs is happening now through January 8 and guests will find several new entertainment options.

First, is Stitch's Holiday Gift, a scavenger hunt through all four neighborhoods of Disney Springs. Guests can pick up a Holiday Hunt booklet at one of the participating locations and then search for unique Stitch icons throughout Disney Springs. When the quest is completed, guests can redeem the booklet for a free completer button.

The Festival of Toys takes place at the Once Upon a Toy Fountain area and features a dance party, deluxe hot cocoa for sale, pin trading, and a nightly tree lighting ceremony.

Speaking of trees, don't forget to check out the all-new Disney Springs' Christmas Tree Trail featuring 15 custom-decorated holiday trees.

Disney Springs is opening two hours early on Black Friday, November 25 and on Saturday, November 26. Shoppers will find a variety of deals at stores including World of Disney, the Marketplace Co-Op, Star Wars Galactic Outpost, and Disney's Days of Christmas.

More than 60 of the Disney Springs' stores are planning Black Friday sales and these are just a few of the deals you'll find:

  • 60 percent off select styles at APEX by Sunglass Hut
  • A free coffee from 7-9 a.m. on Black Friday at Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream shop when you spend $4.95 or more
  • A Free 1 Year Club Fit2Run Membership to the first 10 guests on November 25 and 26
  • A free bangle with a $125 purchase as Pandora Jewelry

Disney Springs is also celebrating with holiday entertainment including Living Statues at the Marketplace, The Festival of Toys, Carolers in the Marketplace, the Hanukkah-inspired troupe Kalinka 24-30 at Waterview Park, UHURU celebrating Kwanaza on December 26-27, and toy soldier stilt walkers in the Marketplace.

Santa Claus will be meeting guests at Santa's Chalet in the Marketplace through December 24 from 12-10 p.m. Hours on Black Friday are 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Santa Goofy takes over the meet-and-greet on December 25 through December 30.
