It's clear from the get go as you approach the porte cochere at the beautiful new Gran Destino Tower that the holiday spirit has come to this sprawling hotel and convention center complex. As with many of the repeating motifs of the new tower, bells are found as a common theme between this stunning addition and the Walt Disney and Salvador Dali film "Destino."

Cut brass lanterns inspired by those found all over Moorish Spain create a welcoming atmosphere all year long. During the holidays the standard motifs are stepped up with festive colors and small trees throughout the upper lobby.

Looking out over the lobby balcony, guests can see the impressive multi-story Barcelona Lounge tree which towers from floor to ceiling. There's an elegant feeling to the holiday decor here that mirrors the refinement of Gran Destino Tower.

The tress brings in ribbons and balls of bright colors like purple and turquoise alongside a multitude of elegantly cut tin and brass lantern stars that glow from within.

But of course... Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is much more than the Grand Destino Tower. El Centro is the the former lobby area of the resort which is directly connected to the resort's ample Convention Center. While the tower is resplendent with Spanish elegance, El Centro offers rustic vibes more reminiscent of America's Southwest.

In El Centro the shiny surfaces of brass and tin give way to soft gold and white colors with rustic punched lanterns and hanging floral baskets. Over here Panchitos' ceiling covered in with evergreen swags and holiday music playing overhead.

We did also take a peek down the Convention Center Halls and found them to be decked out as well. No we weren't really surprised, and the colors here take all the bright blues and purples that were only accents in other decors and brings them center stage with colorful trees that made our hearts dance.
