Grab A Quick Bite At Sunshine Seasons In Epcot

There's one restaurant at Epcot that I never plan on eating at, but somehow always end up at - Sunshine Seasons. Located on the lower level of Epcot's Land Pavilion, Sunshine Seasons is a food court style quick serve location that is always bustling with energy. Whether you're looking for a hearty lunch, or just a quick snack to grab and go, there's sure to be something waiting for you at Sunshine Seasons.

My son and I arrived at The Land Pavilion with more than enough time before our FastPass+ for Soarin' Around the World would kicked in. Feeling a bit hungry we decided to wander down through the building and grab a quick bite to eat. Sunshine Seasons is hard to miss once you're inside the Land, as the bright and open seating area takes up the first floor of the center atrium. First come first seated tables are arranged in three smaller sections, with half walls denoting walkways to keep the traffic flowing through the atrium. It's a busy atmosphere that always seems to be full, lively, and loud.

Ordering counters are set up in stations at Sunshine Seasons, guests will find different counters with themed foods: a Grill, Soups & Salads, Asian fare, Sandwiches, and a Bakery all offer friendly selections for a broad variety of tastes. Guests grab a tray and order at the station of their choosing, it's very easy to move from one station to another picking up meals for different family members. After you've picked up what you want to eat and you have your party together - you take your trays to the cashier station and complete your payment. All standard forms of Disney payment are accepted here, including the Disney Dining Plan.

Since we planned on eating our way around the world later in the day, we decided that we'd spilt something. So we grabbed a Turkey Sandwich with Italian Potato Salad, which split in half, turned out to be a solid snack to keep us going. The sandwich was hearty with turkey, cheese, spring greens, and a spicy aioli on focaccia bread. I found the bread a little dry, but was able to compensate by soaking up Italian vinaigrette from the saucy potato salad.

We were using the Disney Dining plan, so of course, we couldn't pass up dessert. We chose the Mickey Mouse Oreo Cheesecake. Shaped like a classic Mickey icon, the light cheesecake is on a chocolate cookie crust, and full of cookies and cream flavor, then topped with a whipped red frosting and finished to look like the main mouse's famous bright red pants. The texture it soft and refreshing, and it managed to be sweet without being overly cloying. If you order this tasty treat, be prepared to have an equally bright red mouth afterwards.

We enjoyed our unexpected visit to Sunshine Seasons, and it continues to be a great spot to take a fast break while you wait for your FastPass+ or just to escape the Florida heat. If you're headed to Epcot and don't have dining reservations, you may want to try stopping in to grab a bite to eat. Is Sunshine Seasons one of your go to restaurants? Love this place. Just ate there today with my family. Good quality food fast. Very busy. Good idea to have a member of the family get a table while the others grab the food. Highly recommend the tuna cold noodle salad.
