Happy Hour Fun At STK In Disney Springs

STK Orlando is a modern steakhouse & chic lounge located on The Landing at Disney Springs. I stopped in recently to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials that happen Monday through Sunday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The discounted offerings include half-off specialty cocktails, and $2, $5, $7, $8 food specials! You can get the famous first class cuisine from STK without putting a major dent in your pocket book.

STK Orlando has the same big city vibe as other locations, such as Los Angeles or Las Vegas, and that can seem slightly out of place for a family friendly resort. However, if you're looking for a grown-up dining destination at Walt Disney World the upscale atmosphere and cosmopolitan food may be just the thing you need.

Happy Hour service takes place in the lounge at STK, though if seating is available you may be able to get a walk-up table for the same great prices. Don't be afraid to ask, because while the atmosphere may be a little intimidating for the casual jeans and tee-shirt tourist the staff I interacted with were some of the friendliest people I encountered on this trip.

STK's Happy Hour Menu offered a great selection of high-end bites costing between $2-$8 a piece. Selections include oysters. lil'BRGs, olive tapenade and hummus, beef tartare, bone-in filet lollipops, tuna tartar tacos, and crispy calamari amongst others.

There is also a QR code on each table that guests can scan for a touchless menu experience.

Happy Hour Beverages include 1/2 Off Signature Cocktails or $10 Justin Cabernet and Vievite Rose wines. The cocktails are super fun, and a chance to taste these extraordinary glasses of wine at a discount price was something that I just couldn't miss.

The VieVite Rose from Cotes de Provence was a mild rose that was crisp and delicate without an overwhelming boozy flavor. The pleasant but mild taste was soft and fruity which left a fresh mouth palate for the rich bites.

When it came to food I went for the Lil' BRG & Truffle Fries. Lil'BRGs are on the regular STK menu and I had been looking forward to trying the waygu beef bites, but I hadn't been prepared for how adorable the mini burgers garnished with a handful of parmesan truffle fries truly were.

The Lil' BGR was well done and had a rich beefy flavor. It was topped with caramelized onions that were a touch salty, but the cheese, pickle, and tomato offered a pop of freshness. The STK "special sauce" provided a nice contrast with what tasted like mayo, garlic, and horseradish. The Lil' BGR has well developed flavor and the tiny size makes sure it's not staggeringly rich.

Overall I really enjoyed my Happy Hour stop at STK Orlando. The food was great and at the discounted prices it can't be beat. The mini portions are great for ordering a couple of items to try, or as a fantastic start to a Happy Hour food crawl through Disney Springs. Overall my food, tax, and tip came to under $20 and satisfied me on a hot Florida evening.
