Sometimes when you are at Disney World you just want a moment of peace, somewhere to step out of the craziness that involves ride lines, waiting times, fast passes, and dining reservations. Hidden in the UK pavilion there is just that, the Butterfly and Knot Herb Garden.
On the left side of the UK pavilion sits a beautiful perennial garden. The garden is filled with flowers that attract butterflies and it also features a chrysalis box that houses numerous butterfly cocoons. If you are lucky you just might catch a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.
In the herb garden near the replica of Anne Hathaway's cottage (the wife of William Shakespeare not the actress) there is rosemary, parsley, spearmint, chives, and sage that are grown year round.
Did you know that its called a knot garden because of the appearance of knots in the hedges?
Around the corner is the hedge maze which is always fun to make your way through!
