The rumor has been brewing online for a couple of weeks now, but according to the Orlando Business Journal on February 19th Disney finally announced a long-term strategic partnership making Joffrey's Coffee the first "corporate alliance sponsor in the category of specialty coffee."
The Tampa based coffee roaster has operated in park kiosks since 1995 but the new alliance brings them into the restaurants throughout Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Vacation Club Properties. With new and unique roasts in development made especially for Disney, Joffrey's coffee will replace a brand that has brought common complaints by Disney foodies, Nescafe'. The new custom blends of gourmet, artisan roasted coffee will be available at select Disney dining locations, resort hotels, quick-service restaurants and as in-room coffee service.
Hotel Interactive News is also reporting that guests will be able to purchase the specialty blends to take home with them through an in-room catalog at select Disney resorts as well and online. Disney fans will be able to enjoy a 30 second vacation with their first sip every morning as they enjoy gourmet cup of Joffrey's in their Mickey mugs.
Financial terms have not been disclosed by either company, but Joffrey's CEO Ted Abrams told the Tampa Bay Times that the long-term agreement was "significant."

Hoping it is an improvement
over what has been served,
especially in the rooms lately.

I'm looking forward to it Barbara, I really do think that it will be an improvement.

Now come on, Nescafe isn't that bad (if you put Baileys in it). LOL

We're not coffee drinkers, so this doesn't really matter too much to us, other than to say Joffrey's has been (I think) the provider of the frozen cappuccinos that we LOVE LOVE LOVE at Epcot and other areas throughout. These were our replacements for Starbucks Frappuccinos while at Disney. Did I mention we love these?!?

I would sooner drink battery acid than Nescafe.
