Dolenz continues his stint
in the concert series this year after filling in at the last minute in 2012 as a way of paying tribute to his late bandmate and good friend, Davy Jones, who had been a long-time "Flower Power Concert Series" fan favorite. We're happy to see Micky back on the schedule and hope that he'll continue to join the series for years to come.

The Village PeopleThe Village People

Other newcomers to the Flower Power stage include the fun and fabulous 1970s top disco band, The Village People from April 19-21 who are sure to draw a crowd. Finally 1960s singer-songwriter Tommy Roe most-remembered for his hits "Sheila" (1962) and "Dizzy" (1969) is on from May 3-5th, and rounds out the Flower Power beat at Epcot.

The 2013 Flower Power Concert Series looks like it will bring a sensational line-up of musicians to grace the stage of the American Gardens Theater.
The 2012 shows took place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:15PM, 6:30PM and 7:45PM. We'll let you know if we hear something different for 2013. Will you be attending any of these spring concerts? Leave a comment and let us know which you're most looking forward to!

I will be there for both Nelson and The Turtles. I must admit that I do not remember their music right now...but I bet when I hear it I will. The Sounds of Summer shows were so much fun - I am delighted that Epcot is offering this in the spring too. :)

Look forward to finally seeing Peter Noone this year. Miss having concerts every day(last year was 2008) like F&W, but better to at least have weekends, than none at all.

We'll be there to see the Village People...loved those guys back in the day! It's a "girls only" trip, and we can't wait!

My sister, Cara, and I are SO excited "The Orchestra" is in the lineup again this year. Cara's friend, Eric Troyer, is in the band. What a talent! She saw him last year, and this year's my chance to join her for their concerts April 27-29. I'm coming all the way across country, from Santa Cruz, CA. Cara can drive from Gainesville, FL. If you see some old ladies dancing up a storm to their music, that'll be us! Can't wait!!!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience Gary! The dates that Disney advertises are always subject to change, and it looks like that's what happened here. We'll update our info and remind folks to always check with the official DisneyWorld.com website before heading to an event. Changes can occur up until the day of the event (and sometimes even the minute of the event)!
