Magic Kingdom’s ‘Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!’ Street Party to be Updated this Fall

Walt Disney World is updating the Magic Kingdom's 'Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!' Street Party.

Starting this fall the street party is getting a new name in addition to several new characters including Stitch and Phineas and Ferb. Once the updates have been made it will be known as the 'Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!' Street Party.

The updated procession will still begin on Main Street U.S.A. and will make its way to Cinderella Castle. The emcee, stilt walkers, and characters will still be part of the new program.

Once the parade makes its way to the Central Plaza, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy will appear on top of the giant gift box floats.

The music for the parade will be remixed party songs and during the 'Play It!' section of the street party guests will get to vote for one of three current hit songs.

The fan favorite parade-street party has been performed at the park since 2009. The new version will debut this fall but in the meantime guests can still enjoy the original version several times a day.
