Magic Kingdom Main Street Vehicles

The Magic Kingdom's Main Street Vehicles are always a fun treat after rope drop.

Operating during the morning hours, you can choose to ride on one of four types of turn-of-the-century vehicles.

There's the horse-pulled trolley,

The omnibus,

The horseless carriage,

or the famous fire engine. Walt Disney used to drive the fire engines most mornings at Disneyland.

The ride on the vehicles are short -- about 2-and-a-half to 3 minutes long -- but nostalgic and fun for the whole family.

Do you see the Main Street vehicles in operation during your visits to the Magic Kingdom? Have you ever ridden in one of them? Leave a comment below!

Didn't they stop the Omnibus a while ago? Or am I thinking of something else?

Our first memory of The Magic Kingdom was the horse-pulled trolley and the song and dance show performed by the dancers riding on it. I think it has its own set route and it stops in various places for the performers to put on the show.

We witnessed the shows in front of the Main Street Station and on the route to Cinderellas Castle. However I didn't know that you were allowed to ride on it too.

Does it cost anything to ride on any of the Main Street transportation?

Hi Donna,

Main Street transportation is included in your admission to the Magic Kingdom.
