Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade to End at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 31

The Animal Kingdom's afternoon parade is coming to an end this month.

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade is reportedly ending on May 31.

This will be the second Walt Disney World park parade to end this year. Earlier in 2014, the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade ended at the Magic Kingdom to make way for the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

The end of the Animal Kingdom's parade is due to the ongoing construction and expansion related to the Avatar-inspired land being built at the park. The expansion will soon move into the viewing area and parade path.

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade has been performed at Disney's Animal Kingdom since October 2001 and also features a holiday version, Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade.

No replacement for the parade is scheduled at this time.

Miss it by 4 days. I just hope the new Lion King home will be open then.
