New Locations for Star Wars Droid Factories

Star Wars fans now have two more places to build their very own droid. During last year's Star Wars Weekends, guests were introduced to the "build your own droid" experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Tatooine Traders (where droids are still being built today). And now that experience is also available at the Downtown Disney Marketplace and in Disneyland.

At Downtown Disney, the droid building fun happens at the Droid Factory inside Once Upon a Toy. Disneyland guests can build their own droids at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland. Both locations also feature more build stations for guests " each new build station is four-sided allowing four guests at a time to build a droid.

During the build your own droid experience, guests get to build their very own "astromech" droids from the Star Wars galaxy. Guests choose a dome, a body and legs for their droid and can then personalize the droid with a third leg, novelty hats (including ear hats, Goofy hats, a pirate hat, or a Yoda cap). Droids can also be named using sticker sheets that are available at checkout.
