Updated! Flights of Wonder at Disney's Animal Kingdom has long taken guests on a journey into the avian world. It introduces guests to some of majestic bird species, while telling the heartbreaking story of how environmental concerns have brought some of them to the brink of extinction. But for 2018 Disney announced something that has been swirling around the rumor mill for ages; an all new stage show just in time for the Park's 20th anniversary. UP! A Great Bird Adventure is sure to be a spectacular celebration of our feathered friends.
While the plumed antics of the magnificent Flights of Wonder cast is inspirational, this has always been one of those shows that can feel a little tired once you have seen it a time or two. Therefor we are super excited to announce that there is an all-new show is coming to the Caravan Theater at Disney's Animal Kingdom opening in Spring 2018 featuring Russell and Dug from Disney-Pixar's 'UP! Guests will be able to take a romp with Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell, and his faithful companion Dug as they discover the beauty and intelligence of birds from around the world. After all - their pal Kevin was a bird, so they know a thing or two about exotic feathered creatures.
As with the previous shows, Disney has shared that "there will be "UP" close encounters each day with amazing winged creatures!" We really can't wait for this fresh flight to swoop in at Disney's Animal Kingdom and keep us entertained.
