New Version of ‘Once Upon a Dream’ by Lana Del Rey Unveiled During Sneak Peek of ‘Maleficent’
During the recent Grammy Awards telecast viewers saw a 90-second sneak peek of Disney's Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie as the iconic villain.

The preview included an all-new version of the song "Once Upon a Dream" performed by singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. Del Rey's haunting version of this classic Disney song will be featured in the closing credits of the film. Have a listen for yourself in this video trailer from Disney.
Maleficent opens nationwide on May 30 and explores the untold story of one of Disney's most iconic villains. Fans will see the betrayal that turned Maleficent's heart to stone and led her to place the curse upon Princess Aurora.
The story in the film shows Aurora as she is caught between the conflicts in the forest kingdom and the human kingdom. In time Maleficent realizes that the child she cursed may hold the key to peace in the land.
Maleficent also stars Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, Lesley Manville, Sharlto Copley, and Elle Fanning.
Fans can download the song for free on Google Play until Monday, February 3.
