Ode To Dole Whip And Where To Find It At Walt Disney World

Ahhh... Dole Whip. Your sweet pineapple swirls of velvety goodness are the things that Disney dreams are made of. Mountain peaks of icy cold nectarous bliss spun into a little paper cup, or rising from a lagoon of tart pineapple juice, you brighten any day with your sunny color and fresh bright flavor.

There was a time that the only spot one could indulge in this cult classic sweet was in the heart of Adventureland. I'm happy to report that while you can still belly up to the counter at Aloha Isle, there are also several other places around the Disney Parks that you can find this fan favorite. Oh hey! While we're on the subject of Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, it's worth noting that the Disney Food Blog says Vanilla Whip is back on the menu at this location, that means that you can also indulge in the popular Vanilla & Pineapple Swirl.

Heading outside of the Magic Kingdom, Guests can make their way to the Pineapple Lanai at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to get a taste of the cool classic. This spot was made specifically to serve up the pineapple bliss. If you want to get a little crazy though, head around the corner to the Tiki Terrace for a Spikey Pineapple. This drink blends Barbancourt Pango Rhum with Pineapple Soft-serve. The combination of Dole Whip with Rum has been gaining ground amongst Disney fans, you'll notice the trend is spreading.

At Art of Animation we'll happily go over the edge of The Drop Off to sip a Captains Pineapple by the Big Blue Pool. This frozen concoction blends Dole Whip with Captain Morgan's Rum and may very well be the drink of my people. Currently a seasonal treat, the bar tenders at the Drop Off say it's been a popular one.

The welcoming draw of the pineapple offers Guests a refreshing way to cool off at Disney's Animal Kingdom's Tamu Tamu Refreshments. In the heart of Harambe Village you can order your cup of Whip as is, or topped off with a shot of either dark or coconut rum. If you are a Pina Colada fan - go for the coconut.

This shot on top version is the same way you can order your Dole Whip at the Pineapple Promenade during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, or the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

We've also heard tell (on the DFB of course) that Dole Whips have been newly spotted on the Marketplace Snacks menu at Disney Springs.

Thanks to our friends at the Disney Food Blog for giving us exclusive use of thier images. So where is your favorite spot to indulge in the luscious pineapple goodness from the Hawaiian Islands? Leave a comment and tell us how you like it.
