Patagoina Booth Featuring the Flavors of Chile and Argentina to Debut at 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

This year's Epcot International Food and Wine Festival kicks off a week earlier than past festivals and will feature a new Patagonia booth, new menus, and special dining events.

Debuting at this year's event is the Patagonia booth, which combines the flavors of Argentina and Chile. So far there is no word on whether or not the former Argentina and Chile booths will remain at the festival.

The booth's menu will include dishes such as sustainable roasted Verlasso salmon, quinoa salad, and arugula chimichurri.

The festival features more than 25 marketplace booths, including Brazil and the Florida Fresh Booth, which is replacing the Farm Fresh Marketplace. Our friends at the Disney Food Blog are reporting that guests can dine on a tilapia dishes with coconut lime sauce called Moqueca de Pescado in Brazil, while the menu at the Florida Fresh Booth will feature "Bacon and Eggs."

Other events during the festival include a dinner that showcases Walt Disney's "culinary predilictions," a foodie "Boot Camp Series," and a Friday morning celebrity "nosh-and-chat" cookbook event called "Food for Thought."

Speaking of celebrity chefs, some of those scheduled to attend the Food and Wine Festival for culinary demos and premium events include Warren Brown, Rock Harper, Paula DaSilva, Gale Gand, Jamie Deen, "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro, Duskie Estes, and John Stewart.

Special events this year include the Party for the Sense grand tasting events and premium events such as the Parisian Breakfast and "Sunday Mornings with..." which is a plated brunch with an acclaimed pastry chef or baker. Booking for the Food and Wine Festival special events begins in August.

The 2014 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival begins September 19 and runs through November 10. For the most recent news and updates on the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival check out the Disney Food Blog's 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Page.
