Pumpkin Crème Brûlée At Amorette's Patisserie In Disney Springs

Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs is one of my favorite places to stop in for a seasonal treat. This charming little shop is one of the best places at Walt Disney World to indulge in luxury sweets. The Pastry Chefs here are always working hard to create tantalizing tastes that are as beautiful as they are indulgent. I stopped in on my last trip to enjoy the Pumpkin Creme Brulee, a limited time treat just here for Fall of 2020.

The Pumpkin Creme Brulee is unassuming sitting in the case at Amorette's. Just a little dish of naked pumpkin custard waiting to be all gussied up. The tag identifying the seasonal snack is what touts the finished product of pumpkin custard with bruleed sugar, a sable cookie, and candied pecans.

It's the fact that they keep the custard chilled and unadorned until you order that allows the treat to taste so very good. Amorette's waits to brulee the treat after you order, that means that when you break into it the melted sugar gives that proper crack lovers of creme brulee adore.

The mild pumpkin custard is light and refreshing with a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. It's not overly sweet and instead offers a gentle flavor that contrasts against the burnt sugar and crunchy candied pecans. The overall balance makes for a pleasant flavor that doesn't cloy. The serving size is just enough for small dessert after a big meal.
