Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog made a fantastic post earlier this week about all the fun things going on at Epcot this Holiday Season. Holidays Around the World is in full swing and this year Disney has added some special treats, that will make foodies extra Merry! So grab one of the special a holiday passports (new this year) and head off around the world on a cultural winter festival of discovery.
The handy new passports will act as a guide map for all of the holiday fun, with a listing of shows and their times as well as all the yummy holiday treats that have popped up for a limited time. On many of the menus at the food kiosks dotted around World Showcase Lagoon you'll find a wide variety of specialty spiced teas, ciders, and hot chocolates that will tempt your taste buds. One of the very best stops on the holiday tour (and a traditional fan favorite) has got to be Prost! located in the German Pavilion; but then the German Pavilion is home to many holiday goodies, so be sure to explore them all!
If you are a fan of the Karamell-Kuche presented by Werther's Original, then you'll want to be extra sure to hit the Prost! Booth, because they are serving up a steamy delicious Hot Salted Caramel Beverage that may just knock your socks off. It's like drinking the perfect melted caramel with just a touch of saltiness so that it's not overpowering. Guests will also be delighted by the eggnog-like Williams Punch Winter Dream, or the Possmans Pure Cider. However, if you're looking for the traditional mulled wine called Gluhwein that this booth has served in the past you'll find it at Sommerfest or find it at Weinkeller.
Thanks so much to the DFB for exclusive use of their Holidays Around the World images. For all the details about these tasty holiday treats and the specialty cuisine that you can find at Epcot during this holiday season, be sure to stop on by the Disney Food Blog and read their in depth coverage.
