Spice Road Table Brings A New Full Service Bar To World Showcase Promenade

Our good friends over at the Disney Food Blog have been deep in their research on all things Spice Road Table, the new Mediterranean tapas bar at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park. The small plates and great view are going to have foodies flocking to the brand new venue in the Morocco Pavilion. Not only does the addition of Spice Road Table bring new food choices, but a brand new full service bar with a plethora exotic libations.


Richly Detailed The Space Evokes the Mediterranean Sea


After guests enter the restaurant the richly decorated bar is located directly ahead. Keyhole windows light the bar back, and you can see that just beyond lies the familiar Moroccan waterwheel. Royal blue walls draw you in towards the marble top of the full service bar decorated with decorative tiles. At this point there the bar is standing room only without seating. Pounded copper ice buckets line the front, like soldier waiting for orders.

Spice Road Table is offering up a selection of Mediterranean aperitifs, specialty cocktails, ethnic beers, and regional wines to accompany the small plates of flavorful food that grace its menu. If you're feeling adventurous you could start out with a whole aperitif flight of Alvear Cream Sherry, Ruby Port, and Lillet designed to stimulate the appetite. Wine flights are also available to continue your journey, or perhaps you would rather give the Organic Sangria a try. It comes in red, white, or sparkling varieties with a garnish of frozen fruits.

With the prime location on the south shore of World Showcase Lagoon seats at the Spice Road table start filling up at about 7:00pm with guest waiting to watch Wishes from this perfect waterside location. The restaurant seats about 60 indoors and 92 outside on the terrace. Spice Road Table does NOT currently participate in the Disney Dining Plan or Tables in Wonderland.
