Spotlight on Disneyland's Oscar

He's been around longer than many Disney fans have been alive, and he's still serving up a great breakfast five days a week at the Carnation Cafe in the Disneyland Resort. We're talking about Oscar Martinez. With 54 years of service, he is the longest tenured cast member at the Disneyland Resort.

Oscar first joined up with the park back in 1956 and made the move to his current job location, the Carnation Cafe, in 1967. There, he concots a great breakfast for guests, including the menu item"Oscar's Choice" which is scrambled eggs with cheese, a choice of sausage or bacon, Oscar's famous potatoes, a side of fresh fruit and a croissant. After finishing with work, he can often be found mingling among the Cafe's guests.

The Disney Parks Blog recently caught up with Oscar for an interview and were lucky enough to score the recipe for his world-famous potatoes. Check it out here
