Tickets are now on sale for the Night of Joy 2016 at the Walt Disney World Resort. For the first time ever the event will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex rather than at the Magic Kingdom.

Night of Joy takes place September 9 and 10 and the lineup of performers is as follows:

  • Friday, September 9: MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Battistelli, Crowder, Matthew West, Stars Go Dim, and Zealand Worship
  • Saturday, September 10: Newsboys, for King & Country, Young & Free, Switchfoot, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Timmons, and Veridia

There are a few ticket options for guests. The first is a single-night concert only ticket for September 9 for $39 in advance ($45 day of show). Guests can also purchase a single-night concert only and one-day theme park ticket for September 10 for $99 in advance ($114 day of show).

There is also a two-night concert ticket which includes both nights and one day at a theme park for $119. This last option is only available in advance.

Guests who choose to purchase the two-day ticket on or before August 9 will also receive admission to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon valid from September 6-12.

Keith - That's a great question Keith and I'm afraid I wasn't able to find an answer during the search I did. You may want to call Disney to ask. My instinct is saying no, that this is a hard ticket event.
