Trolley Car Café Opens as Starbucks Location in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Coffee fans have another Starbucks location to visit on their next Walt Disney World vacation. The Trolley Car Cafe is now open at Disney's Hollywood Studios, serving up coffee, cupcakes, cookies, and more on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards.

The story behind the Trolley Car Cafe is that it's where the Big Red Trolley Cars were housed. The theme of the Cafe is somewhat industrial with exposed pipes and light fixtures mixed in to the decor.

You'll want to check out the decor as you wait for your order. There's even a trolley car switchboard on the wall with famous California cities and landmarks listed. Maps of trolley car routes and photos of the old trolley cars are also part of the decor.

The ordering queue is similar to what you'll find at the other Walt Disney World Resort Starbucks locations in Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. And the menu is full of Starbucks drinks including lattes, mochas, and even the new Flat White.

The bakery cases feature Starbucks La Boulange items in addition to some Disney favorites including the almost-world-famous Butterfinger Cupcake (but here it's called the "Chocolate Toffee Cupcake.") Our friends at the Disney Food Blog recently sampled the cupcake and reported that it is in fact the Butterfinger Cupcake from Starring Rolls, just with a different name.

The seating for the Trolley Car Cafe is non-existent inside and outside the cafe. However, guests can find seating near Min and Bill's Dockside Diner and on benches on the sidewalk.

Guests will also find Starbucks merchandise including the 'You Are Here' coffee mugs featuring icons from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Looks awesome! I love that they've kept that classic Hollywood feeling with this. I was worried with Star Wars coming to take over that the whole old Hollywood vibe might start to fade away. This themeing makes my heart sing.

We were at Hollywood Studios last Tuesday and stopped in to see the new Trolley Car Cafe. The theming is very nice, and they did a great job converting a children's merchandise shop into a quick service restaurant. The menu is just the same as the ones in Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and it is set similarly. It's nice to know you don't have to go off property for your Starbucks fix anymore!
