Happy Friday! We've made it through another week so let's get down to the nitty gritty of what's going on in the vacation kingdom. A whole bunch of new information has released for guests attending the annual Halloween party. The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is always a bustling site where athletes of all ages are put to the test. Recently they announced that once again The 2020 Pro Bowl, presented by Verizon, will return to Orlando for the fourth straight year! ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be the football headquarters during the week leading up to the NFL's All-Star game.

More exciting news comes in the form of the announcement that Disney will Serve as Official Host of 2022 Special Olympics USA Games being held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games will feature more than 4,000 athletes, 10,000 volunteers, 1,500 coaches, and 125,000 fans from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Things are really ramping up over at Disney's Hollywood Studios where Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to open on August 29th, 2019. Preview reviews have been fantastic for Guests who have had the opportunity to take a peak. It's worth noting that during the opening weekend there will be two shows nightly of Famtasmic!

With all that galactic excitement going on, don't forget that it's almost go time for the Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This event will also begins August 29th and is a fan favorite that brings guests back year after year to sip, taste, and tour their way around the Epcot Theme Park. Menus for the event have already been released, so make a plan and enjoy this culinary event of the year.

Because of these two great events Disney is introducing a new Mid-Day Magic Ticket! Mid-Day Magic Tickets are valid for admission after 12 p.m. and may be used at any of the four theme parks, allowing guests to catch a parade, enjoy a meal, experience favorite attractions, and then get ready for wondrous nighttime shows.

Mid-Day Magic Ticket:

  • 2-day tickets start at $81 per day, plus tax
  • 3-day tickets start at $78 per day, plus tax
  • 4-day tickets start at $74 per day, plus tax
