Walt Disney World News Round-up For Friday October 9th, 2020

I am loving how everything keeps changing at the Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Giving guests something new to come back for has been a great way to keep the scaled down version of the annual festival a little more exciting. Recently two new booths have opened with spectacular sweet treats to enjoy! The Doughnut Box delicious deep fried doughnut holes in three flavors, and Cool Wash is toping assorted Coca-Cola slushies with fruity candies or blended with booze.

New Show on Disney+ features the residents and caretakers of Disney's most unique Park on "Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom." Viewers get a look behind the scenes where they meet some of the most popular animals in the kingdom while getting to know the folks that devote their lives to taking care of them. As if to celebrate, on the day this new show premiered a baby female Masai giraffe was born backstage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

The Disney Conservation Fund (DCF) has been providing critical support to community-led conservation efforts for 25-years. While the global pandemic has brought unexpected challenges support from the DCF continues to provide key resources to carry forward efforts that protect wildlife. Things are Poppin' at Disney Springs! Weekend Hours have been extended to accommodate the higher traffic levels that have been seen in the past month. the LovePop reopened with a beautiful new showroom to display the unique and fantastical cards. STK is back with brunch and you can add on 90-minute bottomless Bloody Mary's or Mimosas! I'm feeling like there are going to be a lot of very drunk people walking around Disney Springs on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
