Grand Avenue and BaseLine Tap House Opening this Fall at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A new area, Grand Avenue, is opening this fall at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The area is located in what remains of the Streets of America and is meant to "capture the spirit of present-day Downtown Los Angeles." Grand Avenue will feature vintage office buildings and warehouses that represent the vibrant cultures of the city.

Terralina Crafted Italian Opening this Fall at Disney Springs

Terralina Crafted Italian is set to open this fall in Disney Springs in the former location of Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. The new restaurant will be helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano, who also headed the kitchen at Portobello.

We have big news today! The 2018 Disney Dining Plan updates were announced this morning and for the first time ever the Dining Plan includes specialty beverages and alcoholic beverages (for guests 21 and older of course).

Disney Springs is home to a cornucopia of great dining options; from quick serve kiosks, to posh lounges, and world class restaurants. On my last visit I discovered a new favorite of mine, for grab and go food to take back to the room, on a picnic, or even to tuck in my bags on the way home. Nestled snuggly on an exterior corner of Wine Bar George, just to the right of the entrance to the chic bar, guests will find The Basket.

Located on Grand Avenue in Disney's Hollywood Studios the BaseLine Tap House is a relatively new addition to the Park. A casual bar, BaseLine occupies the spot formerly home to The Writers Stop. Now, instead of coffee and pastry the location boast California beer and cider, as well as cocktails and fine wines along side a few specialty snacks.

The backstory of this Animal Kingdom eatery is as rich and in depth as its cuisine. Located in the Asia section of the Park, the structure is one that could be found in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. Here a former merchant named Arjun has turned his opulent home into a haven for travelers. The exotic boutique hotel is filled with an eclectic mix of art and artifacts that Arjun has collected over the years from travels in Southeast Asia. At the center of this mythical hotel is the full-service Yak & Yeti Restaurant.

The Yak & Yeti bar feels like a secret hole-in-the-wall where you can dip in to wet your whistle. With just a few bar chairs pulled right up to the full-service bar this an incredibly small part of this sprawling restaurant, is not a spot to gather with a crowd. However, if you are traveling solo, or as a couple, it provides a quaint spot for a drink.
