Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Now Open in Downtown Disney

Downtown Disney's newest watering hole opened this week in The Landing. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is where, as the story goes, Jock and the other members of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers used to meet. And if you're wondering "who is Jock Lindsey?"...he was a trusted pilot for Indiana Jones.

Every now and then the Disney Beverage program creates a drink so fantastic that it becomes a classic, etched into the memory of Disney fans who spread word of it's goodness across the internet and created even more excitement. One could say that it's been done with the Lapu Lapu at the Polynesian's Tambu Lounge, or at Grey Goose Slushies from the France Pavilion both of which are fan favorites. However perhaps on of the most successful of Disney's magical cocktails has been the Blue Glow-tini.

My Disney Experience Adds Bars & Lounges to Dining Options

The Walt Disney World Website continues to grow and change it's content as they roll out features to be used for My Disney Experience. One of the recent enhancements includes the addition of 59 listings with information and menus for bars, pool bars, and lounges located across property into the searchable Dining overview.

Muddy Rivers Pool Bar at Port Orleans Riverside Resort

Tucked away on Ol' Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is the Muddy Rivers Pool Bar. Situated well out of the way of the resort's guest rooms and main building, there is little hustle and bustle unless the feature pool is crowded. It appears to be the shambled kind of southern bar that you would expect to see out on the bayou, except it's Disney squeaky clean. Open to the elements with a faux weathered wood exterior and charming storm shutters that prop open.

Siestas Poolside Bar at the Coronado Springs Resort Dig Site

Continuing our Friday bar hop, we've covered the super chic Rix Lounge and the charming lakeside retreat that is the Laguna Bar, but have you been over to Siesta's Pool Bar and Grill at the Coronado Springs Resort? Grand Floridian Resort Pool Bars

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is home to not one, but two lovely pool Bars. There's the St. Johns Bar at the pool in the courtyard, and the Beach Pool Bar, which is situated between the beach and lively beach side waterfall pool. Both locations offer guest a great opportunity to wet their whistle while enjoying their time poolside.

Enoteca Castello in Epcot's Italy Pavilion

A couple weeks go, we talked about a great stop Epcot wine walk Les Vins de France, where you can find some classic French vintages. However France isn't the only famous wine growing country around World Showcase, and the Italy Pavilion's Enoteca Castello is home to some dazzling choices from Banfi distributors.
