A Look Inside A Two-Bedroom Villa At Bay Lake Tower

On my last trip down to Walt Disney World, the Disney Vacation Club was offering special room tours at all of the DVC Resorts in addition to the usual model tours. After striking up a conversation with a friendly DVC Guide at Disney's Contemporary Resort, I took the opportunity to tour a Bay Lake Tower Two-Bedroom Villa so that I snap some pictures to share with you.

Morning Yoga at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

For some people the morning doesn't start well without a few asanas to center and focus. Put your best foot forward and enjoy a gentle yoga session at Walt Disney World. Several of the hotels on property offer complimentary morning yoga classes to their guests. These sessions are full of gentle-feel good poses, no toe-touching flexibility is required.

Special Ideas for Celebrating new Year at Walt Disney World

Ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World is one of those things I dreamed of as a girl. Frankly, I place the blame directly on the early 80's version of Carousel of Progress. However, as an adult just the thought of fighting through the New Year Crowds on Main Street USA triggers an anxiety attack. Avoiding crowds during the holidays at Disney is all relative, and while it will be crowded and busy no matter where you go, avoiding the parties in the Parks will help ease a bit of that traffic.

25 Reasons I Love Being A Disney Vacation Club Member

This year the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is celebrating 25 Years ... and beyond of creating amazing vacation magic. Disney's unique concept of a time share and the things that it would offer its owners shook up the industry when it first debuted and has been providing world class service ever since. My husband and I bought our membership in 2008 and while we wouldn't really call it a financial "investment," it is by far the best investment in our family that we've ever made.

5 Reasons to Love Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Disney's Contemporary Resort is not only one of the original Walt Disney World Hotels, but it remains one of the premier destinations for Disney travelers both staying at the property or just coming for a visit. Its unique A-frame design sets the stage for the massive Grand Canyon Concourse that holds shopping, dining, an original Mary Blair mural, and the monorail which runs right through!

Deluxe Studio Villas At Disney's Contemporary Bay Lake Tower

Bay Lake Tower (BLT) at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort with Deluxe Villa Accommodations. No matter how many guests are in your party, there is a villa at BLT that will suit your needs - from a studio that can sleep four, up to a three bedroom grand villa that sleeps twelve! There are also three views to choose from including a Standard view (courtyard, parking lot), Lake view (Bay Lake) and Theme Park view (Magic Kingdom).

Top of the World Lounge Takes the Cake

Sitting high on top the Contemporary Resort's Bay Lake Tower lies one of the most exclusive lounges in all of Walt Disney World, the Top of the World. This posh bar with its relaxed mid-century modern interior is home to one of my favorite desserts, the seven layer cake for two.

3 Disney World Resort Lounges for a Great Nightcap

Headed back to your room from a busy day at the park, it's not unusual to think about stopping for a nightcap before hitting the sack. A nightcap is an alcoholic beverage meant to warm and sooth you before going to bed. Frequently people choose something with a higher alcohol content, usually a liqueur or spirit. Traditional nightcaps are brandy or a cream-based liqueur or a bourbon. However Wine or Beer are also more and more common these days.

Restaurants and Lounges with a Magic Kingdom Fireworks View

Watching Wishes from the comfort of one of Disney's elegant restaurants or lounges outside of the Park is a relaxing and comfortable way to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks. With the music piped into each of these locations, you don't miss a moment of the magic. Climate control and a great cocktail make the experience even better.

Disney Vacation Club Point Charts and Home Resort Advantage Are Great for Early Planners

Last week the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) sent out email to it's members announcing that the point charts for 2013 had been released. This is exciting news for owners as it means that they can sit down and really start to plan out their upcoming vacations!
