‘Captain EO’ Closing Forever on December 6 to Make Way for New Disney/Pixar Exhibit

It's time to say farewell to Captain EO. And this time it's a forever kind of goodbye. Disney has announced that the on-again, off-again 3D film will leave Epcot forever on December 6 to make way for a new Disney/Pixar Short Film Festival.

‘Captain EO’ Has Returned to Epcot

After being gone for a few months while its home theater was used for previews of Tomorrowland and Inside Out, Captain EO has returned to the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot. The attraction first returned to Epcot in 2010 and some wondered if the closure earlier this year was the end, but it seems that Captain EO is here to stay at least for a while longer.

The Walt Disney Company Announces 2015 Disney Legends

The Walt Disney Company has announced the 2015 Disney Legends and the honorees include George Lucas, composer Danny Elfman, and actress Susan Lucci. The Disney Legends Awards Ceremony takes place August 14 at the D23 Expo.

Sneak Peek of ‘Tomorrowland’ Starts April 18 at Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion

A special sneak preview of Tomorrowland is coming to the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot starting April 18. This Disney Parks-exclusive preview will also give guests a chance to check out the jet packs used in the film and see a display of concept art and photos from the set of the film.
