Sneak Peek of ‘Maleficent’ Coming to Disney Parks Beginning April 18

Disney's Maleficent is set to open in theaters at the end of May, but Disney Parks guests have a chance to see an extended sneak peek starting April 18.

The film stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, one of Disney's most iconic villains. The film explores the betrayal that turns her heart to stone. As we know from Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent places an irrevocable curse upon Princess Aurora, and in the film Aurora finds herself in the middle of a conflict between the forest kingdom and the human kingdom.

Disney Parks Announces ‘Rock Your Disney Side’ Summer Kick-Off Celebration

Disney is planning the ultimate summertime kick-off party with a 24-hour bi-coastal celebration just before Memorial Day Weekend in May.

After assembling 140 Disney characters in a very large hashtag at Walt Disney World, Disney announced the 'Rock Your Disney Side: 24 Hours' party via Twitter.

Disney Parks Expansions and Additions Exceed $3 Billion

Disneyland Summer Discounts for Southern California Residents

Residents of southern California are in for a great deal this summer at Disneyland. Those residing in Southern California and Northern Baja in zip codes 90000-93599 and 21000-22999 can take advantage of a special three-day ticket to enjoy at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure.

The cost of the special ticket is $139 and will let guests have three visits to either park. Tickets are good for one park visit per day within a forty-five day period, though guests can upgrade to include the Park Hopper option for an additional $15 per ticket.

Disney California Adventure: Celebrating 10 Years . . . and a Facelift

Ten years ago today, Disney California Adventure opened its doors and never has quite achieved the attendance execs had forecasted for the park. Some fans and guests would say besides attendance, another critical aspect was not achieved - that expected Disney flair and magic.
