Three Disney Cruise Line Ships Currently Homeporting in Port Canaveral

For the first time in the history of the cruise line, three Disney Cruise Line ships are currently calling Port Canaveral 'home.'

Earlier this month the Disney Magic joined the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy in port, and will stay until mid-May.

This milestone is not only giving guests more cruising options, but it's also helping to boost the economy in Brevard County.

Disney Vacation Account Gives Guests a New Option to Save for Their Disney Vacations

UPDATE: ON July 25th, 2017 Disney sent out a letter to it's vacation account holders stating "Thank you for your participation in the Disney Vacation Account program. At this time, we are discontinuing the program and no new accounts or contributions are being accepted."

Three Disney Cruise Line Ships to Sail from Port Canaveral Beginning in January

Starting in January, three Disney Cruise Line ships will be sailing from Port Canaveral giving guests even more options when it comes to cruising with Disney.

The Disney Magic will begin sailing 3- and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral on January 2. The Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy are already sailing from the port. The Dream sails on 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Fantasy visits the Caribbean on 7-night cruises.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Ports and Itineraries for 2015

Disney Cruise Line has announced that in the early months of 2015, all four Disney ships will be sailing from Florida ports to destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

The sailings include 3-, 4-, and 7-night cruises from Port Canaveral, and 4- and 5-night cruises from Miami. Each cruise from January to April 2015 will include a stop at Disney's private island Castaway Cay.

Disney Cruise Line Changes Onboard Booking Policy for Cruisers

Disney Cruise Line has announced a change to the onboard booking policy for guests.

Effective November 12, guests who book a future cruise while onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship must complete their travel within 18 months in order to maintain the benefits they receive for booking while onboard the ship. These benefits include: 10 percent off rates quoted on disneycruise.com, up to $200 in onboard credits per stateroom, and a reduced deposit on sailings of 7 nights or longer.

Disney Magic Makes First Call in Miami as Ship Begins Sailings Port of Miami

The reimagined Disney Magic is making her home in the Port of Miami for the next few months and her first call to the port was cause for celebration.

Recently, Disney Cruise Line Captain Robert Olmer hosted local Port of Miami officials and community leaders aboard the Disney Magic for a plaque exchange ceremony. The ceremony is a maritime tradition that celebrates the relationship between a ship and the destination in honor of her first call.

The Disney Vacation Club is a great way to own a piece of Disney and get to stay at some incredible resorts. DVC is Disney's version of a vacation ownership program where members buy in at a certain number of points and then have the flexibility to travel where and when they want.

A friend of ours just returned from a cruise on the brand new Disney Dream cruise ship and sent over this great review of the AquaDuck -- the cruise industry's first water coaster on a ship!

Thanks to WDWFG for the chance to rave about this incredible water coaster. The AquaDuck may seem like a kids' ride to some, but I was surprised to note that the concept was terrifying to many. Not a lot of folks want to hang out above the ocean with only a thin piece of plastic between them and an 150 foot drop!
