Fun and Festive Holiday Cupcakes At Walt Disney World

I love cupcakes! And the Walt Disney World Resort has some of the most magnificent ones that I have ever tasted; like the Butterfinger Cupcake and the King Cupcake. You can even find specialty cupcakes at restaurants and bakeries all over property, and during the winter season some of them even take on a magical holiday flair.

Carrot Cake Cookies at the Writer's Stop

My hands down favorite spot to grab a snack at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the Writer's Stop. It's a charming little bookstore and cafe just around the corner between the Streets of America and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. I'm sure it must get busy in there, but whenever I stop in it has been fairly empty and the perfect spot to grab a seat while deciding what's next in your touring strategy.

Rapid Fill Resort Mug Program at Walt Disney World

Rumors have been swirling around the Internet about the possible launch of a brand new refillable mug program at the Walt Disney World called 'Rapid Fill.' We've held off talking about it because it is still a rumor with no confirmation from Disney. Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog have been keeping an eye on the development.

DFB Mini-Guide to Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios Snacks

One of the most useful tools I took along with me on a recent trip to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom was the Disney Food Blog's Mini-Guide to Magic Kingdom Snacks. With the ebook's pdf file loaded on my iPhone, the kids and I always knew where to head for the most delicious and cost effective snacks available. All the information I could ask for and then some was right at my fingertips, and that's a good thing because we used this reference a lot. I only wished I had one to use on our day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Meaty, Savory Snacks at the Magic Kingdom

The other day my dear husband too a look at my "must eat" list for the Magic Kingdom and made note that it was full of sweet ice cream, cookies, and pastries. I have no problem with this, but he thought that if we were going to be snacking our way through the Park that it might be a good idea to add a little protein to the day. So in honor of my husband, and all the rest of the carnivores out there, here's a list just a couple meaty delights you can find that have a little more style than the typical theme park hot dog.

Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars

It's time to pay homage to one of the most popular snacks and treats known to Disney fans. It's an ice cream lovers delight, straightforward and simple. Fans just can't wait to wrap their fingers around the stick of an ice cream treat shaped like everyone's favorite mouse. According to Disney over 3.3 Million chocolate covered ice cream bars are sold each year at Walt Disney World.
