Dates Officially Announced for the 2015 D23 Expo in Anaheim

The dates for the 2015 D23 Expo were announced by Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger at The Walt Disney Company's Annual Meeting on March 18.

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club presents the Expo and the 2015 event is scheduled for August 14-16, 2015 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

"The D23 Expo is the ultimate Disney fan event, created to honor and celebrate your love of all things Disney," Iger told shareholders and D23 Members at the Company's Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon. "And we hope to see you there."

D23 The Official Disney Fan Club Debuting New Website and Offering a Free Membership Level

Coming in June, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will debut a completely redesigned website, and as part of the launch, the fan club is looking to expand with a free membership level.

Buzz Price Honored with a Window on Main Street, U.S.A in Disneyland

Earlier this week, Harrison "Buzz" Price received what Tom Staggs, Chairman of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts calls "the highest honor from Disney Parks and Resorts" - a window on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland.

Disney Legend Passes Away

August 15, 2010, marked a sad day in Disney history. On that date, Disney legend Harrison "Buzz" Price died at the age of 89 in Southern California.

Mr. Price became an integral part of Disney history by suggesting the sites for both Disneyland in California and Disney World in central Florida. Overall, he completed over 150 studies for the Disney company. Walt Disney's daughter, Diane, noted him to have been involved "in nearly everything" her family did.
