Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has a brand new attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, but the new family-friendly water slide isn't the only improvement at the water park. Several other updates and changes were made during the park's refurbishment this winter.

Miss Adventure Falls Officially Opens at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

The newest Disney water park attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, officially opened on March 13 at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. And then, due to colder-than-normal temperatures in Orlando, the water parks were closed on March 14, 15, and 16. But let's check out this new attraction!

New Attraction, Miss Fortune Falls, Coming to Typhoon Lagoon in 2017

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be home to a brand new attraction, Miss Fortune Falls, in the spring of 2017. The new ride clocks in at two minutes long, making it one of the lengthiest attractions at the Disney Water Parks.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon turned 25 on June 1, and the water park celebrated the milestone with an all-day party.

Typhoon Lagoon opened to the public on June 1, 1989 and boasted the largest wave pool in North America at the time, in addition to storm-themed water slides and a kids' area.

The water park is home to Walt Disney World's first water coaster, Crush 'N' Gusher, which opened in 2005.
