IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth Ending in the Second Half of 2019

Since October of 1999 Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed gathering each night on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon to watch the nightly spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Today Disney announced that the popular nighttime show will end its run at the close of the 2019 summer season.

The Walt Disney Company tops Forbes' list of the World's Best Regarded Companies for 2018, moving up four spots from 2017, the first year that the rankings were compiled. Disney ranks No. 1, earning the highest marks among Forbes' 2018 Global 2000 companies.

2019 Atlanta Braves Spring Training Schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.

Smartphones are everywhere these days, and over the past year Disney has come out with an interactive app and website called MyDisneyExperience to help guests manage their Disney vacation information in one place. However, though it's the best spot to go to when making advanced dining reservations or scheduling a FastPass, there is a lot of vacation information people need to keep at hand that just doesn't have a spot to go in using the officical Disney app.

I'm often asked for suggestions on how to combat the post-Disney blues, especially during the colder months of the year. When the temperatures plummet through a polar vortex and send you into a deep freeze there's no better time to head someplace warm and sunny even in your head. Delicious Breakfasts at the Polynesian's Kona Café

Walt Disney World is home to many "legendary" treats for foodies and one such fan favorite breakfast delight is the Tonga Toast from the Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Situated on the second floor of the Polynesian's Great Ceremonial House and just a few steps from the monorail station it's only a short ride away from the Magic Kingdom. This popular restaurant is a fabulous stop for guests staying at the resort or those just coming by for the food.

Join Your Toy Story Friends on a 3D Adventure on Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

You know the routine. Arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios for rope drop, and once you're through the gates it's time for the Toy Story Sprint as you run (or walk really fast) to Pixar Place, home of Toy Story Midway Mania.

Once you reach your destination, if the queue isn't too long you'll hop in line for the first ride of the day after obtaining FastPasses for a ride later in day. We've all done the Toy Story Sprint at one time or another during our Walt Disney World vacation, and it's so worth it.

Holidays Around the World: The Storytellers Of Epcot's World Showcase

For all of the deserved hype that the Osborne Lights, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Candlelight Processional get during the holidays, there is one neglected bit of yuletide delight hiding in Walt Disney World. The storytellers at Holidays Around the World in EPCOT are phenomenal! It can be difficult to catch every presentation and it is not possible to see the storytellers sequentially, but making the effort is worth it.
