2019 Atlanta Braves Spring Training Schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.

Store Your Travel Data On The MouseTrips iPhone App

Smartphones are everywhere these days, and over the past year Disney has come out with an interactive app and website called MyDisneyExperience to help guests manage their Disney vacation information in one place. However, though it's the best spot to go to when making advanced dining reservations or scheduling a FastPass, there is a lot of vacation information people need to keep at hand that just doesn't have a spot to go in using the officical Disney app.

Dreaming of Disney To Combat The Winter Blues

I'm often asked for suggestions on how to combat the post-Disney blues, especially during the colder months of the year. When the temperatures plummet through a polar vortex and send you into a deep freeze there's no better time to head someplace warm and sunny even in your head. Most folks can't just pick up and go on vacation at a moments notice, so why not do a little day dreaming about those warm summer days.

Satisfy Your Need for Speed with The Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway

If you like fast cars and have "drive like a NASCAR driver" on your bucket list, then you need to check out The Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway.

Yes, that's right. There is a speedway right in the middle of all the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Late Night Dining At Walt Disney World

Guests arriving later in the evening at the Walt Disney World Resort often arrive hungry after a long day of travel. Even though many resort restaurants close their kitchens between 9:30 and 10:00 PM guests still have a few choices in where they can grab a bite to eat.

Delicious Breakfasts at the Polynesian's Kona Café

Walt Disney World is home to many "legendary" treats for foodies and one such fan favorite breakfast delight is the Tonga Toast from the Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Situated on the second floor of the Polynesian's Great Ceremonial House and just a few steps from the monorail station it's only a short ride away from the Magic Kingdom. This popular restaurant is a fabulous stop for guests staying at the resort or those just coming by for the food.

5 Reasons To Love the Disney Cruise Line

Have you ever dreamed of setting sail across the ocean blue but just didn't want to give up your annual Disney trip? Maybe you're just not quite sure you would enjoy a cruise and want to test it out before giving up all your vacation days to it? I've gathered up a small list of my favorite things that I think make the Disney Cruise Line the best place for a novice cruiser to get their feet wet.

Treasures of Cinderella Castle: Elegant Icon of the Magic Kingdom

When people think about going to Walt Disney World the first image that usually come into their head is one of Cinderella Castle. This magnificent palace perched at the end of Main Street USA draws people deeper into the park. Guests walk from a world they are familiar with, back through history, and then into the delights of childhood fantasy. Representing a world of hopes and dreams, this magical castle stands to reminds us that anything is possible.

Join Your Toy Story Friends on a 3D Adventure on Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

You know the routine. Arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios for rope drop, and once you're through the gates it's time for the Toy Story Sprint as you run (or walk really fast) to Pixar Place, home of Toy Story Midway Mania.

Once you reach your destination, if the queue isn't too long you'll hop in line for the first ride of the day after obtaining FastPasses for a ride later in day. We've all done the Toy Story Sprint at one time or another during our Walt Disney World vacation, and it's so worth it.

Pre-Packaged Holiday Treats at Walt Disney World

We've covered many delicious treats for on-site snacking all over Walt Disney World, but some of my favorite souvenirs to bring home for friends and family are the wide variety of pre-packaged and take-home treats and sweets. These delicious gifts become even more fun when the holidays come around and the packaging dons festive colors and a wintery theme.

Holidays Around the World: The Storytellers Of Epcot's World Showcase

For all of the deserved hype that the Osborne Lights, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Candlelight Processional get during the holidays, there is one neglected bit of yuletide delight hiding in Walt Disney World. The storytellers at Holidays Around the World in EPCOT are phenomenal! It can be difficult to catch every presentation and it is not possible to see the storytellers sequentially, but making the effort is worth it.
