The Atlanta Braves Return to ESPN Wide World of Sports for 2015 Spring Training

The Atlanta Braves are returning to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the 2015 spring training season and will play an 18-game schedule against some of the top teams in Major League Baseball. This is the 18th year that the Braves have held spring training at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Rock is Ready to Lend His Voice to Disney’s ‘Moana’

Disney's next animated film, Moana, has cast Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the voice of Maui, a Hawaiian demi-god.

Johnson tweeted out the news on December 3 saying, "Excited to star as "Maui" in Disney's next big animated musical, MOANA. Incredible story! **clears throat #TimeToSing."

The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show Replaces Off Kilter in Epcot’s Canada Pavilion

Off Kilter is officially gone from Epcot and the lumberjacks have taken their place.

The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show made its Epcot debut on October 3, according to the show's official Facebook page.

According to reports the show is being called the 'Canadian Lumberjack Show' and it will be performed on the same stage that was home to Off Kilter.

Disney Sponsored 2014 World Maker Faire in New York City

The 2014 World Maker Faire was held recently in New York City and for the third year in a row Disney sponsored the event.

More than 75,000 kids and families took part in the World Maker Faire New York. Disney teamed with the World Maker Faire and the New York Hall of Science to bring the event to life.

In the tent sponsored by Disney kids had a chance to interact with 3D printers and create miniature models of Baymax, the star of the upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios' Big Hero 6.

Walt Disney World Offering Guests a Virtual Video Tour of Hotels

Disney has added a new vacation planning tool to the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Guests can now view virtual video tours of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on the Disney Parks website. The videos can be found on the page for the hotels, embedded in the photo slideshow.

The virtual videos give guests an aerial view of the hotel while the narrator lists the amenities available at the hotels including spas, transportation, dining, and more. The videos can be viewed at the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Recipients Announced for the 2014 Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund Grants

The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF) has announced the recipients for its 2014 grants.

One hundred and forty one organizations were chosen to receive grants from the DWCF. Including the grants for 2014 the DWCF has contributed more than $25 million in grants to organizations to study wildlife, create community conservation projects, and protect habitats around the world.

Disney Begins Development on Live-Action Adaptation of 'Dumbo'

Dumbo is flying back into theaters sometime in the near future.

Disney is reportedly working on a live-action adaptation of the 1941 animation classic that will likely involve a CG animated flying elephant in the title role.

The script is being written by Transformers scribe Ehren Kruger and will reportedly add a new family storyline that parallel's the original story. The film is being produced by Justin Springer (Tron: Legacy) and Kruger.

Artist Creates ‘The Disney Universe’ Using all the Stars from Disney and Pixar Films

An artist from the United Kingdom has created an image that contains every star that was featured in every Disney and Pixar animated movie.

And by "stars" we're not talking about Cinderella and Queen Elsa. We mean stars from the night sky.

Marianne Hanoun collected every star depicted in every Disney and Pixar animated film and added them to the image called "The Disney Universe."

The artwork gives fans a chance to see stars featured in the night sky of a Disney classic is sitting next to stars from a new Pixar hit film.

Ship Used in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Series Sinks in the Caribbean

Call it the real curse of the Black Pearl.

A ship used in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean film series recently sunk off the coast of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The ship, The Brig Unicorn, was sailing to St. Lucia for repairs and "encountered difficulties" and then sank. There were nine crew members and a captain on board at the time, but no one was hurt in the accident. All crew members were rescued by the St. Vincent Coast Guard.
