New Starbucks Locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Using Interactive Touchscreens

In the past couple of weeks Starbucks has opened two new locations at the Disney Parks and the two stores share a unique feature.

The stores opened in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland and in Downtown Disney West Side at Walt Disney World. And while both stores feature the famous brand's coffee and pastries, they also have a new feature that new for the company.

For the first time Starbucks is connecting customers on opposite sides of the country through in-store interactive touchscreens.

New Alex and Ani Bracelets Featuring Disney Parks Icons and Characters Now at Disney Parks

The Alex and Ani Disney Collection is now sporting all-new icon charms.

The collection was made up of more than eight different Disney symbols, birthstones, and initials and the new additions include signature charms inspired by Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Later this month Mickey's Fun Wheel from Disney California Adventure joins the collection.

Disney Executive Who Oversaw Development of MyMagic+ Set to Leave Walt Disney Company in July

The Walt Disney Company executive who headed the development of the MyMagic+ program is leaving the company.

Nick Franklin has been with The Walt Disney Company since 1996 and is the longest-serving member of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts executive committee.

A Disney spokesperson said the decision to leave the company was Franklin's and he is planning to help other companies use innovation the way he did with Disney.

New Beautifully Disney Collection Inspired by 'Alice in Wonderland'

The newest collection from Beautifully Disney is full of colors inspired by characters from Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

Curiouser & Curiouser is full of shimmery shades, neutral colors, and rich pigments all inspired by Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and even Caterpillar.

Easter “Egg” Hunts Planned for Epcot, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure

April promises to be "egg-citing" for guests at Epcot, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure.

Starting on April 10 and continuing through Easter Sunday, April 20, guests at those three theme parks can participate in the Egg-Stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt. This is the first year that Disneyland guests will have a chance to participate in the egg hunt.

Disney Parks Blog Offering Makeup Tutorials for the Beautifully Disney Line of Cosmetics

Earlier this year the Beautifully Disney line of cosmetics introduced its fifth collection, the Pop of Minnie collection.

Pop of Minnie channels 1960s Mod pop art and the line is all about adding color to classic looks. Even the packaging is pop art inspired.

This latest Beautifully Disney collection features eye shadow, nail polish, and lip gloss in addition to accessories such as an eyelash curler, brush set, and manicure set. Also debuting this spring are character and non-character long-wearing nail appliques.

Disney Parks Announces ‘Rock Your Disney Side’ Summer Kick-Off Celebration

Disney is planning the ultimate summertime kick-off party with a 24-hour bi-coastal celebration just before Memorial Day Weekend in May.

After assembling 140 Disney characters in a very large hashtag at Walt Disney World, Disney announced the 'Rock Your Disney Side: 24 Hours' party via Twitter.

Inaugural Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland Resort Planned for November

The Avengers are headed to Disneyland.

runDisney recently announced the inaugural Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland Resort on November 14-16.

The events for the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend include the half marathon, a Family Fun Run 5K, kids races, an expo, and more.

And in true runDisney style, Marvel's Avenger characters will be on the race course, cheering on the runners as they run through Disneyland and surrounding areas.

Destination America Network to Air ‘Disney Week’ Beginning March 3

For one week next month, Disney fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at Disney parks, resorts, and cruise line during Disney Week on Destination America.

The week long programming event will highlight Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and hotels.

Eight Disney Parks Resorts Named Silver Badge Winners by U.S. News & World Report

Several of Disney's top resorts have been named Silver Badge Winners by U.S. News & World Report in their annual "best of" series.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel came in at the top of the list of "best of" hotels in the Anaheim/Disneyland area. It ranked #1 out of 315 hotels in that area, and was #142 in Best California Hotels, and #11 in Disney Hotels and Resorts.
