Comedy Warehouse To Serve Up Holiday Laughs

For those of you lucky enough to be headed to WDW this Christmas season, you might want to head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for some extra holiday cheer. The Comedy Warehouse, which used to be part of the now-defunct Pleasure Island, is set to return for a limited time only. Look for performers to take suggestions from the audience and give holiday classic tales and songs an updated, improv comedy twist.

New Character Coming to Disney Parks

"Jake and the Never Land Pirates" is a hit show on the Disney Junior channel, and now guests will be able to see Jake himself at Disney parks.

Starting this Sunday, November 13, fans can catch Jake at two different places. First, he'll join the Junior Play 'n Dine character meal experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios' Hollywood & Vine. In addition to catching up with Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny and "Little Einsteins" characters, guests will be able to participate in singing songs from Jake's show.

Third WDW MouseAdventures Coming In November

The creative minds over at MousePlanet.com are planning their third Walt Disney World MouseAdventures event for this November.

The Adventures, which have been popular in Disneyland for more than ten years, will take place November 12 at Disney's Hollywood Studios and looks to be geared towards those who have a vast knowledge of all things Disney.

See Lightning McQueen at DHS Extreme Stunt Show

There's some good news for you "Cars" fans heading to DHS this year. Lightning McQueen is now up and running at Disney Hollywood Studio's Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

Last month, we reported "Cars 2" star Lightning McQueen would be joining the cast of the popular DHS show this summer, and now it looks like you can catch the charming character in the show daily. Also, you can meet up with McQueen and his sidekick Mater before or after the show in The Winner's Circle.

Fantasmic! To Show Nightly

Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios is what a lot of guests call a "must-see." Starting next week, the seeing part will get a little easier as the popular show will start a nightly run for the summer.

Starting July 3, the water/lights/special effects/movie highlights show will be available to guests each night at Disney's Hollywood Studios through Septebmer 30.

Showtimes will vary, so guests are encouraged to grab a Times Guide once in the park to get that night's details. Performance times can also be found at www.disneyworld.com.

4th of July Events at Walt Disney World

It's almost that time of year again for all-things American. As we gear up to celebrate Independence Day, here are some Disney celebration offerings from the happiest place on earth (a.k.a. Walt Disney World).

Head to the Magic Kingdom to see their fireworks extravaganza Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. The show is set to run at 9 p.m. both July 3rd and 4th.

Meet Phineas and Ferb at DHS

They were on, and then they were off. Now, Phineas and Ferb are back on for a brand-new character "play-and-greet" experience at Disney Hollywood Studios.

Hollywood Studios to Have New Character to Meet-and-Greet Opportunities

Who doesn't love the chance to say hi to a Disney character? Disney's Hollywood Studios will have some new opportunities to do just that coming next month.

Starting May 16, guests will have the chance to catch up with Phineas and Ferb. The fun duo will be featured in a movie-themed meet-and-greet experience.

As the summer heats up and "Cars 2" gets ready to hit the big screen, Lightning McQueen can be seen at Luigi's Garage. In June, catch him as he fills in for Herbie the Love Bug on the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

Ridley Pearson Kicking Off 'Kingdom Keepers IV' Book Tour in Downtown Disney

Ridley Pearson will be at Downtown Disney April 4 to kick off a book tour promoting his newest novel "Kingdom Keepers IV: Power Play." After a stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios April 5, the tour brings the author to both coasts as well as points in between.

"Kingdom Keepers IV: Power Play" is the latest installment in the popular young adult series that features teenagers taking on the dark forces lurking around Walt Disney World.

Star Wars Weekends Dates Are Set

In a galaxy far, far away. . . well, maybe not so far. All of you Star Wars fans out there, mark your calendars for 2011's Star Wars Weekends. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 20 through June 12, Disney's Hollywood Studios will host the popular, annual, immersive Star Wars Weekends. This is a chance for guests to rub shoulders with a large assortment of Star Wars characters as well as take in special parades, trivia challenges and other themed events.
