Enchanted Tiki Room to Open This Month

The Enchanted Tiki Room, a Magic Kingdom attraction that can trace its roots back to the early days of the park, will be opening its doors to guests in less than two weeks.

The Adventureland attraction, which closed earlier this year due to a fire, has been receiving the Disney makeover treatment in preparation for its August 15 opening. Guests taking in the new and improved version of the Tiki Room will be treated to updated and remastered audio as well as a "state of the art show-control system."

The Enchanted Tiki Room Will Reopen This Summer

Disney recently announced that its Magic Kingdom attraction, the Enchanted Tiki Room, will reopen sometime this summer after a facelift. Shut down in January due to a fire, the latest version of this classic is said to be "reminiscent of the original show" called Tropical Serenade.

This will be at least the second revamping of the attraction. In 1998, the show added "Now Under New Management" to its name and included appearances by Iago from "Aladdin" and Zuzu from "The Lion King."

We'll keep you posted on specific dates for this fan favorite's reopening as we get them.
