New Pre-Parade Street Jam Planned For MNSSHP

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party(MNSSHP) is almost here, and this year Disney has a new street jam planned to take place before the party's Boo To You parade.

The new addition to this year's MNSSHP is called, appropriately enough, the Not So Scary Street Jam! and will take place on Main Street U.S.A. Look for the jam to begin sometime between the Headless Horseman's ride through the Magic Kingom and the start of the Boo To You parade.

Mickey's Halloween Party Dates Announced

It may seem strange to think about Halloween now during spring, but the folks at Disney are definitely looking ahead. Recently, they announced the dates and prices for 2012's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. In case you want to make plans to attend this year's event, here are all the not-so-gory details.

Dates for the event are as follows:
September 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 & 30
October 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 and 31
November 2

Halloween Fun at Fort Wilderness

Mickey's Backyard BBQ, that guest favorite character dinner at Disney's Fort Wilderness, will be all decked out for Halloween this year and can be a nice option for guests who want to get into the holiday spirit.

The October 31 version of the BBQ will feature characters decked out in their Halloween costumes. Guests can join in the fun as well and can come in their own costume.

How Toontown's Closing Will Affect Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Guests who are heading out to this year's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom can expect a few changes thanks to the closing of Mickey's Toontown Fair.

Most of the changes appear to center around the location of certain characters. Frontierland will take on some of the costume-clad characters, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Frontierland will also be the site of Br'er Rabbit's Candy Patch, the newly moved and reimagined Treat Trail that could be found in Toontown.

Celebrate Halloween This Fall With Mickey's 'Spooktacular' In-Room Celebration

It was one of their most popular offerings last year, and now Disney Floral & Gifts has announced its return. We're talking about, of course, their Mickey's "Spooktacular" In-Room Celebration.

This particular celebration brings some of the Halloween magic back from the Disney parks to a guest's resort room. After returning to the room, guests are greeted with cobwebs, a sash, and other various Halloween decorations on their room's door. Inside, the room is designed to look like Mickey himself has stopped by and personalized a fun, spooky celebration.

Halloween and Christmas Party Tickets On Sale Now

Tickets for two popular events - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - went on sale yesterday. Interested? Here are the details you'll want to know.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be held from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. on the following dates this year:

  • September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, and 30
  • October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 31
  • November 1

Pricing for the September dates is as follows:

  • Advance Sale, Child (3-9): $47.95

Disney Store Halloween Costume Preview

October has arrived and Halloween decorations have started to crop up at the Disneyland Resort and in Walt Disney World. It should be no surprise, then, that the Disney Store has started to stock Halloween novelties and a brief preview of their 2010 Disney costume collection.
