Jungle Cruise Getting Holiday Makeover as the Jingle Cruise

For the first time ever, The Jungle Cruise is getting a holiday transformation into the Jingle Cruise just in time for the holidays.

Disney says the transformation is happening because the Jungle Cruise skippers are homesick for the holidays and they decided it was time to add holiday cheer to the queue and boathouse using decorations mailed from home. The Skippers are also getting crafty and have created some homemade decorations.

Glow With the Show Ears Debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as Fantasmic! Celebrates 15 Years

As Fantasmic! celebrated its 15th anniversary at Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests also had a chance to celebrate the debut of the Glow With the Show ear hats.

The ear hats debuted last year at Disneyland and their appearance during Fantasmic! was just the beginning of all things glow ears at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Using the latest technology, these magical ear hats glow and complement the imagery and beat of the fireworks and other nighttime entertainment spectaculars.

New Food Choices Make It Easy to Eat Healthy While at the Walt Disney World Resort

Eating at the Disney Parks doesn't always have to mean turkey legs, burgers, pizza, or chicken nuggets. There are now healthy food choices available at each park in the Walt Disney World Resort.

Last week Prince Eric's Village Market opened in New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, and guests will find Odwalla lemonade served with a fruit garnish, bottled water, juices, and teas, and snacks including fresh fruit, hummus, and Greek yogurt.

Interactive Glow with the Show Ear Hats to Debut at Walt Disney World Resort in October

If you've been to Walt Disney World, chances are you own at least one Mickey Mouse Ear Hat, and starting next month you can add an interactive, color-changing ear hat to your collection.

The Glow with the Show ear hats - which arrived at Disneyland in the summer of 2012 - are set to make their debut on October 15 during the 15th anniversary of Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Walt Disney World Announces Complete Night of Joy Schedule

Next month's Night of Joy concert event will feature two legends of Contemporary Christian music - Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith - along with other popular artists.

The event takes place September 6 and 7 at the Magic Kingdom, and Disney has recently announced the schedule for both nights of the event. As always, the times, performers, and stages are subject to change.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to the Magic Kingdom on September 10 and this year marks the debut of Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Guests will have a chance to meet The Pumpkin King and his true love in Town Square on Main Street U.S.A.

Also new to this year's party is the Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball dance in Tomorrowland hosted by Monsters, Inc. scarers Mike and Sulley at the Rockettower Plaza Stage.

Walt Disney Worlds Salutes U.S. Military with Special Rates on Rooms and Park Tickets

The Walt Disney World Resort has announced its latest special pricing for tickets and rooms for active duty United States military personnel, retirees, and their families.

From August 12, 2013 through September 24, 2014 active and retired U.S. military personnel - including active and retired members of the United States Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reservists - or their spouses can purchase discounted tickets for the Magic Kingdom.

Below It All: Utilidors Of The Magic Kingdom

You may have heard that there is a tunnel system under Magic Kingdom. There is a tunnel system below the Magic Kingdom Park called the utilidors. Walt wanted the utilidors because when he opened Disneyland, he saw a cowboy walking in Tomorrowland and that wasn't what he wanted to happen. To help prevent that from happening in Magic Kingdom, he planned for the utilidors so cast members had a way to get to where they work without disrupting the story line in the different areas of the park.
